Caleb Smith has done it again!- May 2021

Skyline Soaring Educational Foundation (SSEF) of Virginia awarded a 9 th grader, Caleb Smith, a coveted SSEF Scholarship. SSEF is a non-profit with a mission to promote aviation education and opportunity to young individuals, by providing financial opportunities for glider flight instruction and education. Each year, SSEF awards one or more flight scholarships to impressive students who love aviation. These scholarships are designed to fund education and flights towards an FAA glider rating. In addition to the SSEF scholarship, the organization funds “Fly A Sailplane Today” (FAST) certificates to aspiring pilots. These awards are provided to selective individuals based on stringent criteria. Caleb Smith was selected for this award.
